JalShield — wireless automatic water pump controller that helps avoid overhead tank overflow

Har ghar ki kahani

Har din motor ki wahi tension?

motor abhi bhi chal rahi hai.

Paani bhi waste. Bijli bhi waste.

Meter disc is spinning fast — the pump is still on load.

Introducing JalShield

Smart Automatic Water Pump Controller

Ab motor ON/OFF ki tension kam.

Tank side

Tanki ke paas Transmitter.

It senses the water level through three sensing wires.

Motor side

Motor ke paas Receiver.

It switches the motor through its electrical connections.

Wireless communication.
No long inter-floor wiring.

Upar tanki.
Neeche motor.

Wireless convenience — up to 10 floors*

*Rated wireless range up to approx. 120 ft. Actual range depends on building construction and where the units are installed.

JalShield ko kaise pata chalta hai ki tanki bhar gayi?

Paani kam? Motor ON.
Tanki full? Motor OFF.

Drag the water level or use the buttons. The motor starts only when water falls below the brown wire, and stops only when it reaches the red wire. In between, it keeps whatever it was doing.

Motor is OFF. Water is between the minimum and maximum levels.

Illustrative simulation. Sensor heights, flow and meter speed are not measurements — you set the red and brown wire heights during installation.

Before and after JalShield: water and electricity

Without JalShield

Tanki full. Motor phir bhi ON.

Unnecessary water aur electricity wastage.

Same meter, pump still running: the disc turns fast.

With JalShield

Tanki full hote hi motor OFF.

No unnecessary pump running.

Same meter. Slower disc.

The disc still turns slowly for the rest of the house — JalShield removes only the unnecessary pump running. Illustrative time-lapse, not a measured saving.

Smart Automatic Water Pump Controller

A transmitter near your overhead tank watches the water level. A receiver near your motor switches it. They talk wirelessly — so the motor starts when the tank is low and stops when it is full, without you checking.

How it works

Two units. One simple rule.

  1. 1

Water falls below the brown wire

The transmitter detects the minimum level and signals the receiver. The motor turns ON.

  2. 2

    The tank fills

Between the brown and red wires the motor simply keeps running — it does not switch on and off at every ripple.

  3. 3

    Water reaches the red wire

The transmitter detects the maximum level. The receiver switches the motor OFF, before the tank overflows.

  4. 4

    You use water as usual

The motor stays OFF until the level drops below the brown wire again. Then the cycle repeats on its own.

Installation

Transmitter at the tank. Receiver at the motor.

  1. Mount the transmitter near the overhead tank.
  2. Place the black sensing wire near the bottom of the tank.
  3. Place the brown wire at the level where the motor should start.
  4. Place the red wire at the level where the motor should stop.
  5. Install the receiver near the motor and electrical supply.
  6. Connect red to Line, black to Neutral and blue to the motor load.
  7. Power up and test: motor ON at the minimum level, OFF at the maximum level.

Electrical safety first

The receiver connects to mains supply. Switch off the supply before any wiring, and if you are not experienced with mains wiring, use a qualified electrician.

No water pipes connect to JalShield, and no control wire needs to run from the roof to the motor.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask

How does JalShield work?

A transmitter near the overhead tank reads three sensing wires inside the tank. When the water falls below the brown (minimum) wire it signals the receiver near the motor to switch the motor ON. When water reaches the red (maximum) wire it signals the motor OFF.

What happens when the tank becomes full?

When the water reaches the red wire, JalShield switches the motor OFF automatically, which helps avoid overflow.

When does the motor turn ON again?

Only after the water drops below the brown wire. Using a little water from a full tank does not restart the motor — it waits until the level is genuinely low.

Does it need wiring between the rooftop and the motor?

No control wire runs between them — the transmitter and receiver communicate wirelessly. You still place the sensing wires in the tank, and the receiver is connected to the supply and motor where it is installed.

What type of pump is compatible?

Single-phase water pumps up to 2.5 HP (up to approx. 30 A) on 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz supply. Three-phase pumps are not covered by these specifications — please ask us first.

Does it work in a multi-floor building?

JalShield is rated for wireless range up to approx. 120 ft, which is typically around 10 floors. Thick slabs, walls and the exact mounting positions affect range, so tell us about your building if you are unsure.

Is professional installation available?

The receiver connects to mains supply, so we recommend a qualified electrician. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what installation support is available in your area.

What happens during a power cut?

JalShield runs from the mains supply, as your motor does. We have not published detailed power-cut behaviour on this page yet — ask us on WhatsApp and we will confirm how your unit behaves when the supply returns.

Does JalShield have a mobile app?

No. The current JalShield works automatically from the water level and does not need an app, Wi-Fi or internet.
